Colin Rost, a senior at Penn Manor High School, has been selected as Lancaster South Rotary Club’s Student of the Month for March, 2022. He was presented to the Club by Baron Jones, Principal of Penn Manor High School.
Colin is the son of Jason and Kristyn Rost of Millersville.
Colin is a member of the Thespian Club, Manor Singers and Vocal Jazz, and has participated in fall plays and spring musicals. In 2021, Colin was named to the Pennsylvania State Thespian Hall of Fame. He is an Eagle Scout and restored a graveyard in Safe Harbor for his Eagle Scout project.

In the community, Colin volunteers at LCBC Church.
In his spare time, Colin plays roller hockey and is active in Boy Scouts. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
Following graduation, Colin plans to enlist in the United States Marine Corp.
Avery Groff, a senior at Penn Manor High School, has been selected as Lancaster South Rotary Club’s Student of the Month for March, 2022. She was presented to the Club by Baron Jones, Principal of Penn Manor High School.
Avery is the daughter of Brad and Brenda Groff of Lancaster.
Avery has consistently earned Honor Roll recognition and was an AP Scholar Award recipient. She is a member of the National Honor Society, where she serves as Treasurer. Avery is Co-Chairperson of the Penn Manor Fall Fest, Student Ambassador, After School Intervention Tutor and Elementary Tutor. Avery was a four year member of the varsity swim team, where she served as captain her senior year and was named a Lancaster-Lebanon League All-Star. She is also a member of the York YMCA swim team. Avery is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Comet Nation, and was a member of the 2021 Homecoming Court.

In her spare time, Avery enjoys Spartan races, strength training and spending time with her family and friends.
Following graduation, Avery plans to attend the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina to double major in finance and economics. Avery aspires to become the Chief Financial Officer of a large corporation.
